Connecting the Volvo Scan Tool

- Ignition off.
- Install the correct memory cassette.
- Connect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) with wiring to the data link connector (DLC) located under the center console cover.
- Ignition on.
- Power up the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
- Select language, car and group of functions using the menu.
- Select system using the menu.
- When the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) has established contact with the system a menu is displayed. Select DIAGNOSTIC TEST to read and erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), activate components/functions and reset adaptations.
