Headlamp Motor: Service and Repair

CF1 Removing:





- Ignition off.

Remove:
- headlamp height adjustment motor connectors.
- headlamp connector.
- motor. Turn a 1/4 turn, the motor has a bayonet connector.
- Pull motor back to release the ball on the motor spindle from the mounting on the reflector.

CF2 Installing





- Turn the adjustment screw on the motor clockwise until the motor spindle is extended to its maximum length. This makes installation easier.
- Lubricate the ball on the motor spindle.
- Open the inner headlamp bulb cover.
- Hold the reflector while guiding the ball into the reflector mounting.
- Turn the motor clockwise as far as it will go.
- Connect connectors and test headlamp height adjustment motor function.
