Intermittent fault








- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the control unit connector.




Check the wire between control unit connector #21 and impact sensor connector #3.
Check for an intermittent short circuit to ground, as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check also the ground wire between control unit connector #46 and impact sensor connector #1.
Check for open circuits, as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Do the necessary corrective action.
