1 The holes marked (1) should be sealed with sealing cap P/N 9170187-0.

2 The holes marked (2) should be filed square. Use plastic nut P/N 9132846-8 as a template.

3 The holes marked (3) should be filed square. Use clip P/N 3511468-5 as a template.

4 The holes marked (4) should be filed square. Use clip P/N 6818065-2 as a template.

5 Where marked (5) an 8 x 12 mm (5/16" x 1/2") hole should be made as illustrated in the left illustration.

6 Center punch where marked (6). Drill square 9 x 9 mm (3/8" x 3/8") holes for box nuts P/N 946947-9.

7 Applies to cars with manual door mirrors. 2 punch marks mark the position of the holes to be drilled for manual door mirrors bracket, 5 mm (13/64") diameter.
