Repairing ABS connector
Background:
This Service Bulletin describes corrective action to be taken if the cover, cable terminals or entire ABS connector is damaged.
The following ABS connector components can be damaged by rough handling:
A. The catch can break off. Secure with a tie strap in this case.
B. The cover hinges can break. The cover should be replaced in this case.
C. The connector housing may be damaged. In this case replace the connector completely.
Note:
After replacing the connector check the connection of cables.
D. One or more cable terminals may be damaged. Method for replacing cable terminals.
