B. If the Connector Cover Hinges Are Damaged

The small lugs on the sides can break.

- Install new cover.

Open the cover





Open cover approx. 45°. Pry the cover sideways to release it from the hinge mount.

If the cover is opened too far, the rear edge of the cover will go around the hinge mount preventing the cover being released.

Install new cover, P/N 914 8142-4.





Locate lugs at (A) first.





Then locate hinge (B)

Close cover over connector housing.

Ensure that the cover locks into the hinge catch properly.
