Vehicles With Yazaki Instrument Panel
Starting in model year 1996 vehicles were equipped with OBDII service ports located above the gear shift panel, requiring the use of a Volvo scan tool (ST) to reset the service reminder indicator (SRI).
Prior to model year 1996 the service reminder indicator (SRI) on a yazaki instrument panel could be manually reset as follows:
- Remove rubber plug without scratching the glass.
- Press in button as far as it will go.
- Install plug.
The service reminder indicator (SRI) is lit when the following factory set service interval is reached: 15,000 km/10,000 miles
The service reminder indicator (SRI) is lit for two minutes each time the engine is started until it is reset after the next service.
