Headlamp Motor: Service and Repair

Removal:

- Turn ignition off.
- Undo light control motor connectors.
- Remove motor. Turn 1/4 turn anti-clockwise, motor is on bayonet fitting.
- Pull motor backwards until motor shaft comes away from its mounting in the reflector.

Installation:

- Turn positioning screw on motor anti-clockwise until it sticks. This extends the motor shaft as far as it will go and makes installation easier.
- Grease end of motor shaft.
- Push on new motor.
- Shorten rod until its bayonet fitting catches. Turn motor anti-clockwise as far as it will go.
- Connect connectors.
- Test light control motor.
- Check light settings, adjust as necessary. Adjustments
