Gauge Not Working at All

The coolant temperature gauge may become inoperative due to one or more
of the following:
- Fuel injection system not receiving any signal from temperature sensor.
- Open circuit forwarding temperature signal from fuel system control module.
- Temperature signal wiring from fuel system control module short circuited to ground or battery potential.
- Defective temperature gauge.
