Front Seat

Use this procedure if Heater is not working, but power supply and ground connection are OK.





- Turn ignition off.
- Undo connectors.
- Remove thermostat and plastic mount from seat.
- Remove thermostat from connector.





- Connect an ammeter in place of thermostat and turn Ignition on.
- Ammeter should read at least 4A.

If reading is correct:
- Fault is in thermostat.
- Replace thermostat and try again.

If reading is incorrect:
- There is an open-circuit in the heater element wiring.
- Remove cover and replace heater element.
