Seat Temperature Element: Testing and Inspection

Backrest Heater Element:





- Turn ignition off.
- Undo connector between seat cushion and backrest.
- Connect an ohmmeter across the terminal pins on the backrest connector.
- Ohmmeter should read approx. 1.5 Ohms.

If ohmmeter reading is 0 Ohms:
- Open-circuit in backrest heater element or connecting leads to heater element.
- First check connecting leads for open-circuit. Service and Repair
- If fault still persists, remove cover as and replace heater element.
