Bonding Seal and Trim

Bond seal:

- Dry rail clean. Use cleaner H.





- Position adhesive on rail so the entire surface (shaded surface in the illustration) the seal will bear upon is covered in adhesive.
- Dry seal clean. Use cleaner H.





- Apply adhesive seal (shaded surface in illustration).
- Press the seal onto the rail.
- Remove adhesive residue from the seal and rail.

Applies only to older rail versions.

Adjust seal:

Adjust seal so it is the same as the one which has been removed.





- Cut away the shaded part of the seal according to the illustration.

Note:
The part which is 5 mm X 20 mm (3/16" x 25/32") according to the illustration, should not be cut away.

Bond side and support trim:





- Position adhesive on side trim and rail on the rear end (A).
- Press the side trim onto the rail.
- Place adhesive on the support trim and rail (B).
- Press the support trim onto the rail.
