Replacing electric motor and gear housing

Removal

- Close the sun roof.




- Remove roof lamp panel (lens, mounting screws, connector).




- Remove the 3 electric motor/gear housing mounting screws.


Installation:





- Install motor.
- Turn emergency control screw carefully with a screwdriver so angle adjustment teeth grip wire.
- Reinstall screws.
- There is normally no need to adjust the roof position if the roof is closed when replacing the gearbox and motor, however, for adjustment, Adjustments.
