Replacing cable

Removal




- Remove:
- sun roof panel.
- electric motor.
- bracket, look washer and screw (B).
- Slide mechanism forwards to access the cable holder




- Remove 3 cable holder mounting screws.
- Carefully lift cable holder straight up.

NOTE! Do not bend the cable holder sideways.




- Slide mechanism forward to expose the cable. Pull cable out of cable sleeve


Installation

- Install in reverse order.
- Lubricate the cable with petroleum jelly PIN 1161150-6 before inserting it into the cable sleeve.
- Adjust the mechanism according to F14 before installing the electric motor.
