Rear Door Panel: Service and Repair

REMOVING REAR DOOR PANEL





Position the winder handle straight up

Remove:
- winder handle (A): Lift interlock (B) on the reverse of the winder handle. Remove the winder handle cover plate. Slide it along the winder handle. Insert a 6 mm (0.24") drift (screwdriver) into the hole as illustrated while pulling out the winder handle.

- 3 screws (C) from the underside of the door panel.

- inner door opener handle (D) (pull straight up).

- 1 screw (E) for loudspeaker (through panel in door panel).

- screw (F) behind the inset door panel. (Applies to later model years; check it the screw is there.)

Lift door panel up and off.

Disconnect loudspeakers cables by connector.

Disconnect door open warning lamp cables by connector.


Install in reverse order.
