Panic Function Does Not Work
NOTE: Panic function will not work with ignition on.
Guard Alarm I:
Check control module programing to see that FUNCTION 3 (panic alarm) is set to 3 or 4.
Guard Alarm II:
Check that control module has been programed to Panic alarm
Sources of fault
Remote control range falling.
Fault in remote control.
Flat/faulty batteries.
Fault in alarm control module.
Fault-tracing starts with Q1.
Q1 Check Remote Control
Deactivate alarm.
Ignition off.
Check remote control inBasic Alarm, Fault-Tracing In Remote Control.
If remote control is OK:
Try another alarm control module after Fault-Tracing in Alarm Wiring Harness, here in Guard Alarm I or II only.
Guard Alarm II:
Run control module self-test in Guard Alarm II only before replacing control module.
If remote control is faulty:
Try another remote control.
