PSL/PSR-214 Seat Rear Edge, Motor 3

Condition
- Motor 3 controls seat height at the rear edge of the seat. If the control module receives a signal from the potentiometer that motor 3 is turning in the wrong direction diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSL/PSR-214 is set.

Possible source
- Wiring to motor 3 incorrectly connected.
- Wiring to potentiometer for motor 3 incorrectly connected.
- Defective control module.

Fault symptom(s)
- When the height adjustment control button is pressed to raise the seat rear edge it moves down or vice versa.
- When a memory button is activated the seat rear edge moves in the wrong direction.
