PSL/PSR-144 Backrest, Motor 2

Condition
- Motor 2 controls the backrest angle. If the control module receives a signal from the potentiometer that motor 2 is turning in the wrong direction diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSL/PSR-144 is set.

Possible source
- Wiring to motor 2 incorrectly connected.
- Wiring to potentiometer for motor 2 incorrectly connected.
- Defective control module.

Fault symptom(s)
- Backrest moves backward when control button pressed to move backrest forward or vice versa.
- Backrest moves in wrong direction when memory button pressed.
