Diagnostic Trouble Code Table 4-1-3 Thru 5-1-1:
Diagnostic trouble codes in the tables are listed in numerical order.
Are A Number Of DTCs Stored At The Same Time?
If a number of DTCs are stored at the same time, there is probably a fault in a common wire. See example below:
1-2-2, 1-2-4, 1-2-6, 2-1-1, 2-2-1, 2-3-1, 2-3-3 and 2-3-5.
If these DTCs are stored at the same time, this means there is an open circuit in a common ground wire. See Fault Tracing Using Fault Codes.
1-3-2 and 1-3-4.
If both these DTCs are stored at the same time, this means there is an open circuit in a common ground wire. See Fault Tracing Using Fault Codes.
2-1-2, 2-2-2, 2-3-2, 2-3-4 and 2-3-6.
If these DTCs are stored at the same time, this means there is an open circuit in the live wire common to all damper motor potentiometers. See Fault Tracing Using Fault Codes.
3-2-1, 3-2-2, 3-2-3, 3-2-4 and 3-2-5.
If these DTCs are stored at the same time, this may be because the control module in a left-hand-drive car is set for right-hand-drive or vice versa. See Fault Tracing Using Fault Codes.
