4-1-6 CHARGE PRESSURE REDUCTION FROM AW 50-42

Preconditions for DTC
^ If the leads between the TCM for AW 50-42 and the ECM for Motronic 4.3 SFI/DI is short circuited to ground (low signal) when the ignition is ON and the engine speed is 0 rpm, DTC 4-1-6 is set.

Substitute value
^ None.

Fault sources
^ Signal lead short circuited to ground.

Fault symptoms
^ Poorer performance at engine speeds below 3000 rpm, owing to continuous charge pressure reduction.
