Connecting ST

- Turn ignition OFF.
- Install memory cassette.
- Connect Volvo Scan Tool (ST) and cabling to the data link connector (DLC) in front of the gear selector lever.
- Now turn ignition on.
- Power up the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
- Select language, car and group of functions.
- Select system. For more information on diagnostic Systems, Diagnostic Functions

- Select DIAGNOSTIC TEST to read and erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and activate components/functions.
- Select MONITOR TEST to continuously read off the values and status of control module input and output signals.
- Select READ CM ID to read off the control module P/N.
- Select RESET SRI to reset service reminder indicator (SRI) counters.
- Select PROGRAM COMB to read off and program values in the combined instrument panel control module.
