User Instructions (VDO)
For instrument panel identification, Application and IDSetting Clock:
Set the digital clock with the buttons to the left of the display as follows:
h: hours
m: minutes.
Pressing either button for more than four seconds changes the time faster.
Average Speed 0 Km/h (0 Mph):
Average speed since last reset. When the ignition is switched off the last average speed value is stored and used in calculations until the function is reset with the RESET button.
Current Fuel Consumption L/100 Km (mpg):
Provides continuous information about current fuel consumption at one second intervals. When the car is stationary with the engine running "-----" is displayed.
Average Fuel Consumption 0 L/100 Km (0 mpg):
Average fuel consumption since last reset. When the ignition is switched off the last average fuel consumption value is stored and used in calculations until the function is reset with the RESET button.
Outside Temperature:
Indicates outside temperature just above the surface of the road while the car is being driven. When the outside temperature is within the range +2°C to -5°C (36 to 23°F) a warning lamp to the right of the display lights.
At low speeds or when the car is stationary the outside temperature value may be higher than ambient temperature because of the heat from the engine.
Trip Meter km (miles):
Distance travelled since last reset. When the ignition is switched off the last trip odometer value is stored and used in calculations until the function is reset with the RESET button.
Remaining Range km (miles):
The mileage remaining until the fuel tank is empty with regard to average fuel consumption and the remaining volume of fuel. When the fuel gauge indicates a quantity of fuel under approx. 8 liters (2.1 US gal) a warning lamp is activated in the combined instrument panel and the cursor by range to empty fuel tank in the display lights. This occurs whatever function was previously selected. When the range to empty fuel tank is less than 10 km (6.2 miles) (depending on the market) "------" is displayed.
