BA. Importance of Manual Locking Module
Locking Module Manually With Door In Open Position.
Doors and trunk/tailgate must be open while fault-tracing. Lock module in locked position by pushing central locking module disk in with a screwdriver.
Once fault-tracing is complete, return locking disk to open position using the outside or inside door controls.
Using An Ohmmeter/Voltmeter
NOTE: Be careful when taking readings on connections/lead shoe male/female sections on connector/relay base to avoid damaging lead shoes or causing electrical faults in the system.
Follow instructions in the step concerned closely when taking readings. Note which position the ignition should be in, if an ohmmeter or voltmeter should be used and which positions readings should be taken at. Put ohmmeter/voltmeter test pins carefully against lead shoes. Never push a test pin into a lead shoe.
