Anti-Theft Alarm Versions

The Anti-Theft Alarm Comes In Three Different Versions:
Basic alarm
Guard Alarm I
Guard Alarm II

Basic Alarm

Basic Alarm Remote Control:

The alarm is operated either by using the standard door key in the front doors or trunk (boot) or via the remote control for the central locking system. The central locking relay sends control signals to the alarm control module.

NOTE: Operating the alarm via the door key may be disconnected in some markets.

Guard Alarm I

The alarm is remote controlled via an infra-red or radio controlled remote control. Alarms installed before 1994 can also be operated via the standard door keys.

Guard Alarm II

Guard Alarm II Remote Control:

The alarm is remote controlled via a radio-controlled remote control. It cannot be operated via the door keys.

Identifying Alarms
Identifying what type an alarm is, is best done by using the remote control in conjunction with the top of the control module and the decal on the front side window.
