DTC 5-1-1

DTC 5-1-1. SELF-ADJUSTMENT OF DAMPER MOTOR LIMIT POSITIONS NOT COMPLETE:





- Condition for DTC:
Control module checks if self-adjustment of damper motor limit positions are complete. If self-adjustment is not complete, the control module records this and stores the DTC.

- Cause of fault:
Self-adjustment initiated in test mode 4 via control code 9-9-9. The car should then have been test driven so that self-adjustment could be carried out.

- Symptoms:
Fault warning to driver. LEDs by A/C and REC buttons flash for 20 sec.

If DTC 5-1-1 Appears:





Control module is activated to carry out self-adjustment of damper motor limit positions.
- Drive car at over 30 km/h (20 mph) for a few minutes. Control module will then carry out self-adjustment while driving.
- Stop car and leave ignition on for at least two minutes to enable the control module to store all values.
