Rear Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Window Channel Seals

• The seal - 1 - has a metal insert in the center.

• If it is bent, it will not be possible to straighten the seal - 1 -. It will remain "wavey".

• Pull the seals - 1 and 2 - off evenly without bending them.






Perform the following:

Removing

- Remove the front door trim.

- Remove the seal - 1 or 2 - evenly - arrows a - from the flange - 3 -.

Installation

- Align the seal with respect to the rear window frame - arrow b -.

Press the seal - 1 or 2 - evenly by hand off of the flange - 3 -.
