Window Regulator Motor

Removing






Perform the following:

- Remove the front door trim.

- Secure the door window with adhesive tape to prevent it from falling down.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.

- Remove the 3 bolts - 2 -.

- Remove the window regulator motor - 1 -.

Installation

It is necessary to code the additional functions and pinch protection each time a new window regulator motor (door control module) is installed.






Perform the following:

- Install the window regulator motor - 1 - in the mounts. Pull the door window lightly up and down so that the splines mesh between the motor and cable reel.

Tightening specification for the bolts - 2 -: 3 Nm

- Secure the harness connector - 3 -.

- Code the new window regulator motor using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 A).

- After coding, let the window regulator work in the one-touch up/one-touch down mode and pull the switch for 2 seconds. This way the window regulator motor recognizes its upper stop.

- Continue by performing the steps used in removal in reverse order.
