Drive Plate

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Counter Hold Tool (10-201)

Removing






• The engine or transmission is removed.

- Mark the drive plate to the engine.

- Install the counter hold tool (10-201) to loosen the bolts.

- Remove the drive plate.

- Remove the shim behind it.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Place a 1.5 mm shim on the crankshaft.

- Install the drive plate with a 3.4 mm shim.

- Secure with new bolts.

- Reposition the counter hold tool (10-201) to tighten the bolts. Tightening specification: 30 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
