1 Nut

• 500 Nm

• Always replace if removed.

2 Outer CV Joint

• Replace only as complete unit.

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Drive Axle ] Rear Suspension.

• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

3 Clamp

• Always replace if removed.

• Tensioning, refer to => [ Tensioning Clamp on Large Diameter ] Rear Suspension.

4 Protective Boot

• Check for tears and scuffing.

• Material: Hytrel (Polyelastomer).

5 Clamp

• Always replace if removed.

• Tensioning, refer to => [ Tensioning Clamp on Small Diameter ] Rear Suspension.

6 Securing Ring

• Always replace if removed.

• Insert in shaft groove.

7 Drive Axle

• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

8 Protective Boot

• Check for tears and scuffing.

• Material: Hytrel (Polyelastomer).

9 Inner CV Joint

• Replace only as complete unit.

• Removing, refer to => [ Drive Axle ] Rear Suspension.

• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

10 Securing Ring

• Always replace if removed.

• Insert into the inner CV joint groove.
