Stabilizer Bar Overview






1 Subframe

2 Right Coupling Rod

Connects the stabilizer bar with the shock absorber/wheel bearing housing.

For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coupling Rod ] Coupling Rod.

3 Nut

100 Nm

Self-locking

Always replace if removed.

Counterhold at the inner multi-point fitting of the bolt when tightening.

Tighten in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position.

4 Bolt

50 Nm

Tighten uniformly.

Always replace if removed.

Tighten in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position.

5 Clamp

6 Rubber Mount

Two-part on both sides of the vehicle.

Connected to one another via retaining tabs.

Always replace the complete bearing.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Stabilizer Bar Mount ] Stabilizer Bar Mount.

For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

7 Stabilizer Bar

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Stabilizer Bar ] Stabilizer Bar.

For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

8 Left Coupling Rod

Connects the stabilizer bar with the shock absorber/wheel bearing housing.

For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coupling Rod ] Coupling Rod.
