Stabilizer Bar Overview
1 Subframe
2 Right Coupling Rod
• Connects the stabilizer bar with the shock absorber/wheel bearing housing.
• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coupling Rod ] Coupling Rod.
3 Nut
• 100 Nm
• Self-locking
• Always replace if removed.
• Counterhold at the inner multi-point fitting of the bolt when tightening.
• Tighten in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position.
4 Bolt
• 50 Nm
• Tighten uniformly.
• Always replace if removed.
• Tighten in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Axle, Lifting to Curb Weight Position.
5 Clamp
6 Rubber Mount
• Two-part on both sides of the vehicle.
• Connected to one another via retaining tabs.
• Always replace the complete bearing.
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Stabilizer Bar Mount ] Stabilizer Bar Mount.
• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
7 Stabilizer Bar
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Stabilizer Bar ] Stabilizer Bar.
• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
8 Left Coupling Rod
• Connects the stabilizer bar with the shock absorber/wheel bearing housing.
• For the correct allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coupling Rod ] Coupling Rod.
