Steering Column Lock: Service and Repair

Electro-mechanical Parking Brake Control Module (J540)

The electro-mechanical parking brake control module is located inside the luggage compartment behind the right side trim panel.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove right luggage compartment trim..

- Press the lock button - arrow - on both side toward the outside and remove the electro-mechanical parking brake control module - 1 -. Pay attention to the wires still connected.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 - and remove the electro-mechanical parking brake control module.

Installation

Install in reverse order.
