Front Level Control System Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester (VAS 5051B)

Removing

- Activate the vehicle lift mode and place the vehicle on the lifting platform. Refer to => [ Vehicle Lift Mode ] Description and Operation.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 - from the left/right front level control system sensor (G78/G289).






- Pull the pin - 2 - down and unclip the coupling rod at the upper control arm.

- Unscrew the bolt - 3 - and remove the front level control system sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Perform the basic setting of the level control system using the (VAS 5051B).

Tightening Specifications
