Suspension Control Module: Service and Repair

Level Control System Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester (VAS 5051B)

Component Location

The level control system control module (J197) is installed in the luggage compartment behind the right side panel trim.

Removing

- Remove the side luggage compartment trim.

- Release the harness connectors - 1 - and disconnect from the level control system control module - 2 -.






- Unscrew the nuts - arrows - and remove the level control system control module - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

If the level control system control module was replaced, it must be coded using the (VAS 5051B).
