Connection/Conjunction Box 3 With Fuse Panel D

• Additional information:

Fuse panel D (SD) is located under the left front seat next to the battery.

Removal

- Disconnect the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the bolt - 1 -, disconnect the 3 connectors - 2 - and remove the cover - 3 -.






- Remove the nut - 2 -.






- Remove the nuts - 3 - (depending on the vehicle equipment level) and wires - 4 -.

- Open the latches - arrows - and remove the cover from fuse panel D - 1 -.

• If necessary, mark the equipment dependent allocation of individual wires to connection points in Connection/conjunction box (SX3).

- Loosen threaded connections and remove all wires from the Connection/conjunction box connections.






- Remove the nuts - arrows - and the Connection/conjunction box from the vehicle.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the nuts on the Connection/conjunction box to the body to 8 Nm.
