Relay and Fuse Panel 2
Removal
Always follow the procedure in the Repair Information when disconnecting the battery. The battery cut-out will be deactivated and damage to the vehicle electrical equipment may occur if the connecting sequence is not followed exactly. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.
- Disconnect the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.
• It is necessary to remove the fuse panel on the driver side because there is a wiring harness behind it. The wires can remain connected to the fuse panel.
- Remove the fuse panel on the driver side. Refer to => [ Fuse Holder ] Fuse Holder.
- Remove the footwell cover on the driver side.
- Remove bolt - arrow -.
- Disengage the bracket from the mounting - 2 - and remove the relay carrier together with the bracket - 1 -.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:
• Make sure the bracket - 1 - engages securely into the mounting - 2 - when installing the relay panel.
- Tighten the screw to 10 Nm.
