Removing

- Disconnect the vehicle battery.

The removal of the front passenger front airbag crash sensor (G284) is similar to the removal of the driver front airbag crash sensor (G283) and the procedure can be derived from this:

Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

- Switch the ignition on.

Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.

- Connect the vehicle battery.
