Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing

- Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Engine Cover.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 - from the differential pressure sensor.






- Remove the control lines carefully from the connection on the differential pressure sensor (the connection on the differential pressure sensor can break off very easily).

- Remove the nut and the differential pressure sensor.

Installing

• For the correct tightening specification, refer to => [ Exhaust Sensor Overview ] Exhaust Sensor Overview.

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Make sure they are tight and there are no leaks.

• If the particulate filter or the differential pressure sensor has been replaced, then the differential pressure sensor must be adapted using the vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to "adapting the differential pressure sensor" in Guided Functions.
