EGR Coolant Thermostat

Removing

- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Coolant, Draining ] Coolant, Draining.

- Remove the bolt - 1 -.






- Loosen the clamps - 2 and 3 - and remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) coolant thermostat from the coolant thermostat and the coolant hoses.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Replace the O-ring.

- Install the EGR coolant thermostat and bolts. Tighten the bolt to 9 Nm.

- Fill the coolant. Refer to => [ Coolant, Filling ] Coolant, Filling.
