Electric Parking Brake Switch: Service and Repair

Electro-Mechanical Parking Brake (E538) and AUTO HOLD (E540) Buttons

The electro-mechanical parking brake button and the AUTO -HOLD- button is located in the center console next the selector lever.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the selector lever cover.

- Remove both screws - arrows - and the button - 1 - from the selector lever cover.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
