Front Seat Belt Anchor







Front Seat Belt Anchor

Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Move the seat as far forward as possible..

- Use the trim removal wedge (3409) , to carefully pry the cap - 1 - on the sides toward the outside - arrows - and remove it from the belt anchor - 3 -.






- Press the securing spring - 2 - outward using a screwdriver (max. 4 mm tip width).

- Press down the belt anchor - 3 - to the stop on the T-pin - 4 -.

- Pull the belt anchor outward off of the T-pin on the seat frame.

Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

- After installation, check whether the securing spring - 2 - is completely engaged on the T-pin of the seat frame - 4 -.

Tug on the seat belt to make sure it is securely attached to the seat frame.
