Left Front Turn Signal Bulb (M5)/Right Front Turn Signal Bulb (M7)







Left Front Turn Signal Bulb (M5)/Right Front Turn Signal Bulb (M7)

Left front turn signal bulb and right front turn signal bulb can be checked via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) of vehicle electrical system control module (J519) => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519), Output Diagnostic Test Mode ] Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.

Removing and installing the front turn signal bulb with the headlamp removed is shown in the illustrations. It is not necessary to remove the headlamp in order to replace the front turn signal bulb.

Removing and installing the turn signal bulb on the left headlamp is shown in the illustrations. Removing and installing the left front turn signal bulb and the right front turn signal bulb is identical.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Press both tabs - arrows - and remove the cover - 1 - from the headlamp housing. Pay attention to the wires still connected.






- Turn the socket extension with the bulb socket - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and remove it from the reflector together with the front turn signal bulb. Pay attention to the wires still connected.






- Press the release button - arrow - and remove the front turn signal bulb - 1 - from the socket extension.






Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Check headlamp for function.

- Check the headlamp adjustment and correct it if necessary. Refer to => Procedure Description.
