Towing Module: Service and Repair

Towing Recognition Control Module (J345)

• Code the new towing recognition control module after installing it. Refer to => [ Towing Recognition Control Module (J345), Coding ] Testing and Inspection.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove right luggage compartment trim..

- Push both unlock buttons - arrows - toward the outside and remove the towing recognition control module - 1 -. Pay attention to the wires still connected.






• The number of connectors on the towing recognition control module can deviate from the illustration depending on the vehicle equipment.

- Disconnect the connectors and remove the towing recognition control module - 1 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
