Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 G235

Removing

- Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Engine Cover.

- Remove the bolts - 1 -, loosen the bolt - 2 - and remove the turbocharger heat shield.






- Remove the connector - 3 - from the bracket and disconnect it.






- Free up the wiring guide for exhaust gas temperature sensor 1.

- Remove exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 - arrow -.






Installing

• For the correct tightening specification, refer to => [ Exhaust Sensor Overview ] Exhaust Sensor Overview.

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 threads with hot bolt paste, refer to the Parts Catalog.

• Installed position: The exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 faces up.
