Side Panel Tail Lamps

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

For the left tail lamp assembly inside the side panel

- Depending on the vehicle equipment level, either remove the interior lamp inside the luggage compartment on the left side or remove the cap - arrow - from the side trim panel.






For the right tail lamp assembly inside the side panel

- Remove the trim - 1 - from the luggage compartment trim panel on the right side.






Continuation for all vehicles

- Remove the plastic screw (11 mm) - arrow -.






• The plastic screw is not secure.

• Be careful so that the plastic screw does not fall behind the trim panel inside the luggage compartment.

- Remove the tail lamp assembly out of the opening in the body. Pay attention to the wires still connected.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 - and remove the tail lamp assembly.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the tail lamp assembly so that the gap between it and the body is equal, then tighten the screw to 2 Nm.
