Rear Lid Tail Lamp Bulb Carrier

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Open rear lid.

- Unclip service cover - 1 - from rear lid trim.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






• It is not necessary to remove the tail lamp assembly from the rear lid in order to remove and install the bulb holder.

• The following illustration shows the tail lamp assembly removed.

- Open the tab in - direction of arrow - and remove the bulb holder - 1 - from the tail lamp housing.






Press the bulb - 1 - into the bulb socket and turn it to the left. Then pull the bulb- 2 - straight out.






1. Tail lamp bulb 2, 12V / R5W

2. Backup lamp bulb, glass base bulb 12V / W16W


Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
