Footwell Vent, Driver Side

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removal

- Turn off all electric consumers.

- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the key.

Follow all Safety Precautions when working on airbag units, seat belt tensioners and battery cut-out units (pyrotechnical components).

- Remove the knee airbag.

- Remove the instrument panel.

- Completely detach the module carrier. and pull slightly forward.

- Disconnect the harness connector from Left footwell vent temperature sensor (G261) - 1 -.

- Unhook the footwell vent - 3 - from the mount - arrow A - and remove it from the heater - 2 - - direction of arrow -.






Installation

- Install the driver footwell vent in the reverse order while ensuring proper seating on the heater.

- Attach the module carrier.

- Install the instrument panel..

- Install the knee airbag.
