Driver Vents In Instrument Panel

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

• The vents are attached to the instrument cluster trim and are removed together.

• To improve the illustration, the steering wheel has been removed from the picture.

Removal

- Use the (3409) to detach instrument cluster trim - 1 - at the indicated locations - arrows -.






- Remove the instrument cluster trim with vent - 1 - from the instrument panel.

- Disconnect the vent illumination harness connector.

- Remove the vents - 1 - and - 2 - from the marked positions - arrows - with the (3409).






Installation

- Install the vents in the reverse order. Ensure that the cables for the vent illumination are not crushed or bent.
