Brake Pedal

Removing

- Remove the footwell cover.

- Remove the side instrument panel covers.

Remove the left instrument panel trim on the driver side.

Remove the right instrument panel trim on the driver side.

- Remove the knee airbag.

- Remove the vehicle electrical system control module.

- Remove the accelerator pedal.

- Remove the crash wedge- 1 - on the bracket- 2 - in order to remove the bolt- arrows -.






- Disconnect the brake pedal - 3 - from the brake booster. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting ] Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting.






- Remove the circlip - arrow - from the mounting pin - 1 -.

- Remove the mounting pin - 1 - from the bracket.

- Remove brake pedal.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• The mounting pin fits in only one position.

- Clip the brake pedal to the brake booster. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting ] Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting.
