Mirror Housing

• The following describes removing and installing the left mirror housing. Removing and installing the right mirror housing is identical.






Perform the following:

Removing

- Remove the mirror glass. Refer to => [ Mirror Glass ] Mirror Glass.

- Remove the frame => [ Frame ] Frame.

- Remove the bolts - 5 -.

- Remove the mirror housing - 1 - upward from the mirror base plate - 3 -.

- Disconnect the harness connector - 4 - for the warning lamp of the lane change assistance - 2 -.

Installation

- Connect the harness connector - 4 - for the warning lamp of the lane change assistance - 2 -.

- Press the mirror housing - 1 - onto the mirror base plate - 3 -.

- Tighten the bolts - 5 -, tightening specification: 1 Nm.

• Then, perform a function test.
