Driver Interior Locking Button (E308)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

• Release Lever (T10039)

The driver interior locking button is installed in the drive door trim panel.

Removal

When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool (plastic wedge, screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the driver door trim panel..

- Open the retainers - arrows - with a screwdriver and remove the driver interior locking button.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
